What is the Star Bright Drip?

The Star Bright Drip is a smaller, focused intravenous infusion containing Glutathione 600mg and Vitamin C 1,000mg in a 200ml bag.

Both are antioxidants. Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation and to the protection of cells from oxidative stress, and also supports the body's absorption of iron and wound healing. Glutathione is a naturally occurring antioxidant produced by the body that plays a role in protecting cells from oxidative stress.

As it is a smaller volume than our 1 litre infusions, this is a shorter treatment, often chosen by those wanting a focused antioxidant infusion rather than a full vitamin complex.

As with any intravenous treatment, suitability varies from person to person. Dr. Bangalee will assess your medical history, current medications and individual needs before treatment.

How it Works

1

Medical Assessment

Dr. Bangalee assesses your health, medications, medical history and goals to confirm that IV therapy is suitable for you.
2

Cannula Insertion

A small intravenous cannula is gently inserted into a vein in your arm. You may feel a brief sting, similar to having blood drawn.
3

IV Infusion

The 200ml infusion is administered intravenously while you relax comfortably. This is our shortest drip.
4

Monitoring

You are monitored by Dr. Bangalee throughout the infusion to ensure your comfort and wellbeing.
5

Post-Infusion

The cannula is removed and you can return to your usual activities, provided you are feeling well.

Expected Results & Timeline

During the infusion: Most patients relax comfortably. This is the shortest of our drips.

Immediately after: You are free to drive and resume normal activities.

Individual response varies, and antioxidant support is best thought of as part of a consistent routine rather than a single treatment.

_Vitamin drips support general wellness and are not a treatment for any medical condition. A consultation with Dr. Bangalee determines whether IV therapy is appropriate for you._

Downtime & Aftercare:

Most patients return to normal activities immediately after their drip. Mild tenderness or bruising at the cannula site can occur and usually settles within a few days.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is in the Star Bright Drip?

Glutathione 600mg and Vitamin C 1,000mg in a 200ml infusion.

Is glutathione safe to include in an IV drip?

Glutathione is a naturally occurring antioxidant produced by the body and plays an important role in protecting cells from oxidative stress. When administered intravenously, glutathione can be used as part of a medically supervised IV therapy protocol.

As with any intravenous treatment, suitability varies from person to person. Dr Rajeev Bangalee will assess your medical history, current medications and individual needs before treatment to determine whether glutathione-containing IV therapy is appropriate for you.

How is this different from the other drips?

It is a smaller 200ml infusion focused on two antioxidants, rather than a 1 litre infusion containing the full vitamin complex. It is also our shortest treatment.

How often can I have it?

This depends on your individual health and goals. Dr. Bangalee will advise on an appropriate interval at your consultation.

Can I combine it with in-clinic skin treatments?

Many patients do. Dr. Bangalee will advise on appropriate sequencing alongside treatments such as chemical peels or microneedling.

Who Is This For?

  • Anyone wanting a focused antioxidant infusion rather than a full vitamin complex.
  • Patients interested in skin quality and ageing well.
  • Those wanting a shorter, smaller-volume treatment.
  • Anyone combining IV therapy with an in-clinic skin programme.
